DME COACHES HEADING TO COLLEGIATE LEVEL
We are proud to announce that our strength and conditioning coach of two years, Rashad Roberts will be moving on to become Embry Riddle’s Director of Sports Performance for men’s basketball.
Roberts announced his transfer from DME on June 15th. “The past two years have been very rewarding, specifically with many of the relationships I have made. I’ve enjoyed working for DME and the athletes that have stepped foot into our facility,” Roberts expressed to staff during his announcement.
Before joining the DME staff in 2015, Roberts spent two seasons at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale as the Director of Sports Performance.
Roberts also trained as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Carolina Panthers for two years.
Roberts brought his talent to DME along with the professional experience and positive mindset around everyone. Embry Riddle College will be the fifth stop on Roberts career journey and we are excited to say he will be moving down the road. Roberts will be missed and we are greatly appreciative of all of his work and talents he brought to DME.
DME is also proud to announce the transfer of High School Regional Head Coach Devin Hill. He was a four year player at DePaul University with three years of coaching experience.
Hill took the head coach job at DME in 2017 and will be leaving to coach at Roxbury Community College in Massachusetts.
Hill was known for his individual training and academic counseling for DME student-athletes. Hill also assisted in coaching the DME Girl’s Travel Team in Spain this spring of 2018. Hill will be truly missed and DME wishes the best to both of our former DME employees.
We are extremely proud and thankful to have staff members strive for the next level as well as our players. Our goal here at DME is not only to place and improve athletes in what they love to do, but also staff members who serve and contribute to DME!
