DME Post Grad Wins Double Header Against Florida Elite
DME Sports Academy Post Grad Blue and Prep Orange defended their home court last Friday evening against Florida Elite, from Miami, Florida.
PG Blue started rocky with Florida Elite coming out on a 6-2 run in the first five minutes of the game.
Still trailing behind, DME Blue finished the first half under double digits, 37-48 to Florida Elite. Tyrese Potoma and Terry Li had a dominant first half for PG Blue. Tyrese Potoma finished the game with 29 points, scoring 9 three-pointers. Terry Li scored 25 points, shooting 11-14 field goals.
Starting the second half, Florida Elite extended the lead to 14 points, 66-52. Coming close to the middle of the second half, Demetri Richardson hit a big three-pointer that sparked a 7-0 run in only two minutes.
During the second half, DME Blue took the lead for the first time, with a layup from Demetri Richardson with 4 minutes left, setting the game 75-73. Richardson finished with ten points and three steals.
Down to the last seconds, Florida Elite trailed by two points on the last possession but a steal from Richardson sealed the deal with Blue finishing on top, 86-82.

Prep Orange suited up after the DME Blue game against Florida Elite as well. Prep Orange came out aggressive with a 10-2 run in the first four minutes. Orange explored their whole bench the first half, with the score of 42-12.
Ralph Philippe scored 20 points off the bench shooting 9-9 from the field. Zech Nabakewa scored 11 points and had 9 rebounds. Maxime Egouy scored 14 points and added 2 block shots.
In the second half, Florida Elite cut the lead down to 26 points but did not have enough to keep up with Orange. Orange finished dominating the court, 77-51.
